Bosch...anything...

I have heard to never use Bosch plugs on 5.4 and 4.6 (and whatever else), but I havent heard anything about Bosch o2 sensors. Are these alright for fords? 97 f150 4x4 with a 5.4. I asked for Motocraft but they have to order it and its like 75 dollars or somthing like that.
Any thoughts?

When I changed a couple O2 sensors on my 1997 4.2L f-150 two years ago I used Bosch brand from I Autozone. (ALso used loan-a-tool service and got a O2 sensor socket). The thing is that when I took off the origanal OEM sensors they had BOSCH stamped on them.

Well, last week I changed both bank 1 & 2 Upstream O2 Sensors and to my disbelief they were both Bosch brand. I don't know if the owner before me changed them out, but at 85,000 miles, they looked like they had been on there for a long time. So, I think they might have been originals. Does anyone know if Ford installs Bosch O2 Sensors from factory?

When I changed them last week I also install Bosch. They haven’t been any problems yet!

The reason I changed them was because I was getting about 11 mpg. And now I am getting around 14.5 mpg.
