The speedometer quit working
I was driving down the highway today and I felt my truck like surge forward adn then all of the gauges quit working and the truck jsut shut off and went into a coast. I had pulled over to the side of the road adn restarted the truck and it had been running fine. i had parked it for about 3 hours and then turned around to come home and my speedometer had stopped to work. and the thing that records my miles didnt work. and once again i pulled over restarted it and it worked fine to get em home. But during the rest of the way home (maybe 20 miles) the worning "theft" light was flashing. If anyone has anything that could help me then please help i am in desperate need i am a college student and i dont have the money to buy a computer for this thing.

yeah i live in central california and we have had a lot of rain lately but that day it hadnt been raining. but i will go and look and see if i have any open connections underneeth the hood. thanks
