My story short as poss... I have a 2002 ranger BASE. I had to bring it back to ford via trans being hard to put in gear. warm/cold all times" They tested and said master cylinder needs to be replaced... BUT!!!!!! now a day later they call me it will be a little longer because we can't line up the clutch plate? i say ok, When I look at the paper I get, It says """ master cyl replace, then [job #2 replace push rod]"" Now i need help what is the push rod, had to be replaced.
If any one has had similar. please post or email hyanofsk@tampabay.rr.com
Please help poor old Rob. I work to hard for this truck to get /\ by ford maybe we can get a class action thingYeeeee. U know. LOL
Thank you ahead of time O big O no mods to truck buy muff was taken off and put back. Dam thing sounds like a import..
p.s. how do bikes sound so deep?
pss I know sory for the time and lenght..

There are pushrods in the engine.
There is a Pushrod between the brake pedal & the M/C or brake booster.
I don't what the clutch uses.
If the clutch is hydraulic,I think it uses a pushrod.

please help PLEASE
call me crazy but on a brand new 2002 should this be covered under warrenty. let me know. i'm having problems with my 97 ranger putting the trans back on because of linning it up is off but i'm not a shop with a lift. just a jack and the garage to do all my dirty work. you better ask to see all the parts that are pulled out. don't even ask the mechanic ask the service manager to save the parts so you can see it.
