Explorer gas tank

I'm not sure how he damaged it! He can't remember hitting anything but I can't believe it, as bad as it is. The lower arm on the front suspension is also damaged. I didn't get the 98 tank so I may post again to see where the best place is to get a tank. Ford wants $569 for a new tank. Thanks

One good place to look is Ford Parts Network They sell the gas tank for $495.35. You could also try a junk yard.
Was there any dammage to the front bumper? Also is there a skid plate coving the fuel tank?
