On an 87 f-150 I have lost all power at switch, I have traced the power wires all the way up to the firewall and have power, but can't find anything wrong anywhere, ignition switch is new, and still nothing, other than pulling harness and looking at each individual wire, I have tried everything I can think of. I did run a hot wire to the switch, and got inside power, and motor to crank, so it has lost a hot lead somewhere. Any suggestions would help.
I was hoping that wasn't going to be the response I got thought maybe someone had gone thru this before and might have the magic cure. As for the yellow one, yes there are 3 of them, and 1 brown, and 1 green. The 2 yellows at the switch are hot as well as the 1 with the stripe, but not sure what the others feed to and from, guess it's time to take it all apart.
