86 302 EFI compared to 87

86 302 EFI compared to 87
hey
i am the proud owner of a 86 F150 with a EFI 302 and 4-speed
when i look through the pages of summit or any other magazine
the bolt on parts (like throttle bodies, etc) say 87 and newer
I have looked at my engine and a 87 and the only thing i noticed to be different was the serpentine pulleys compared to my v-belts
is there a difference if so what
can i use these parts or what can i do to make them work
P.S i am considering some performance parts, give me any suggestions on what you have used and how much it helped or didn't
i am considering headers (whats better shorties or long tubes or does't it matter) I already have true dual exhaust
i am considering a cam, leaning towards a crane truck power cam, will this work with my EFI system, if not does anybody know of a good cam that will
i am considering roller rockers (probable the 1.7 ratio cuz 1.6 is factory, right?
anybody put a BBK throttle body on?
or any other suggestions for more power, but I am on a pretty tight budget since i am in my first year of college
