front end
The question is how much clearance do you have between the rubber stop block and the axle perch.
About 1.5 to 2 inches is normal.
Less is tired springs.
You can add air bags if you plow snow or have a big winch on the front bumper.
Springs are the way to go without a bunch of extra stuff up front.
The normal stance of the IFS front axle is vertical or slightly out at the bottom with the wheels straight ahead.
Also if you change the front heigth you change the alignment.
I have air bags on mine, if I raised it enough to get the tires vertical, it was outside what the alignment adjustments could could get it back into alignment for caster and camber.
I chose the over loaded VW stance for tire wear reasons over the it looks good stance never mind the tires.
Mud tires are not cheap to buy and they already wear to fast with all the highway driving that I do between mud holes.
