Oh How Sweet !!!!
Its Freakin Perfect. No Vibrations, No Noises, No Nothing ,except Pure Niceness If Thats A Word. If You Cant Tell, Im Over-joyed With The Turn Out, Its Been Real Trying On This Project!
For Those Of You That Dont Know What Problems We Have Had With This Thing, I Posted That We Had A Vibration Problem, And Couldnt Find It, We Swaped In A Differant T-case And It Helped Alot, But Still Had The Old Truck Noises.
We Talked The Owner Into Switching Tailshaft And Housing On The C-6 And Putting A Later Model T-case. Worked Perfect, Only A Few Mods Required, But Worth The Effort!!
Thanks For The Input Along The Way.

It has genuine Shelby American 500 Slots & MH1 Michelins. Everybody claimed it was tires or rotors and so forth. It was also annoying and slowly getting worse over time.
It wasn't tires or shocks or anything else. It was in the drive line and when I went to a dealership I had them look up safety recall update record on VIN of that Aerostar. It came up as open (not done). A little talking by me, a phone call to "Henry" & they did it @ zero cost to us. . . .
Vibrations had been getting worse on it. Booklet on recall download had a "right on"
description of our symptoms. Dealer didn't know who I am, or what I knew. It was a contest to sell us a new vehicle (I don't think so) because 205K mi on anyhting means it's worn out to them.
So when I asked them to check OASIS they hesitated, but Fed/ DOT has a mandate if customer requests safety recall update verification, FoMoCo is supposed to provide it. I reminded service advisor, he complied & our Aerostar qualified.
Now we have a new intermediate drive train in a 205,000 mile 94 Aerostar AWD/XLTN.
Now we have zero Vibrations again also, all the way up to a buck, just like new.
I can appreciate the feelings you express. Especially when I crunch in our "cost".
