steering column
does anyone one where i can get a completely rebuilt steering column? i have an 89 350 and have gone through a couple junk yard columns and many repairs and feel i need something brand new.

Sorry, I don't have any supplier recomendations.
But, I am curious about the failures. Is it always the same component that fails?
There may be recalls, or service bullitins dealing with your problems. Check with your local Ford dealers, or the N.T.S.B.. I've been to the government web site and found recalls and complaint listings. It's just possible that a free upgrade is in your future.

Check the Yellow Pages. I know here in Houston there are a couple of companies that actually go out on site to repair/replace collumns that theives have torn up. Mostly they just swap units that have already been rebuilt in their shop. It just saves time. Good luck.
