will it effect my truck at all if i run a striaght pipe from my converter to a tip coming out the side, with no muffler? and will it be louder if i go from the stock size pipe out of the converter into a larger pipe? i have a 94 ranger ext cab, v6 4.0 right now all i have is the convertors everything back from that is off.

i have a 94 4.0 v6 with a straight glass pack with a 4" to a 3" drop to the stock position which is quite loud my suggestion would be to run duals out the back if you were going to eliminate the caddy and muffler because yuo can really here it when you get on the gas.
