2000 Expedition rust on hood
I have a 2000 Expedition with some rust spots on the edge of the hood. I took it to the dealer body shop and they said it isn't covered unless it rusts thru. They had a warranty rep look at it and it wasn't covered.
I know this must be a common problem because they seemed to be aware of it when they saw it.
Anyone know of anything I can do about it to see if it is covered?

Yeah, my 2000 Expy hood is made of aluminum. Are you the original owner? Perhaps it was smashed at one point and someone put on a steel fake-OEM hood (back when steel was cheap!!). Strange problem...
