Well it looks like we have a little problem here. 85BB hasn't been on here for almost a month so it doesn't look like he wants the job.
So, I have a question. Can someone who is a moderator also be a chapter leader? (hint, cobra) Or, if noone else wants the job I guess I will put my name in the hat. My job lets me access the internet quite often and starting the 12th I go on a mon-thur work week so weekends are no longer a problem with get togethers.
I don't want to see this chapter closed so I will do whatever it takes to keep it open.
Mike

Yes, Moderators are allowed to be chapter leaders.

It is a shame No One (2 words) came forward and organized this.

I will close this forum on Monday, unless someone is appointed before then.

The only time I have seen this written properly is when the leader of the band Herman's Hermit's : Peter Noone shows up ")

Not to worry, that was just a tickle tease

I vote for CobraXP and if Dave doesn't want it then I vote for MJ.

I would toss my hat in but I can't. I just enjoy meeting people that share the same common interests so I would love to see the Utah Chapter of FTE survive!

After personally meeting Dave on Sunday he has a full plate in his personal/business life to take this on. Unless he feels he can change that, you need someone else for this position.

Aren't there any Leo's in this chapter ?

It appears there are quite a few Utah FTE Members around the Salt Lake City area and also the Layton & Ogden area- Many of those folks are probably like me that just haven't ventured out of their usual forums to notice that a local Chapter is in the process of being formed

Perhaps if we can keep the Utah Chapter forum open for a bit longer, more interest will accumulate...Like the snow in the mountains!

Ok please we have a few people that put there name in the hat. Then seems like we get busy in life and forget for awhile. Lets not be shy about this. I know there serious about closing this chapter if we do not finalize this. we need to know all the names in the hat and post a vote before the 24th that leaves us 8 days. I will post a new thread with people that want there names in the hat and another to vote with. 3 days to place your name and 3 days to vote only so we can enjoy the holidays sounds fair to me...Sorry to jump the dates but we need to get this over so we can have fun lol.

Ok I have sent messages via email/private messages to all the names that were posted in the members sign in to put there name in the hat to be chapter leader. So far only one name as been dropped. The reason for the vote is to make it official. So everyone please put your name in if your serious, the name dropping will be closed late on the 19th if you miss it I apoligize no extensions can be made and the vote will take place that night (unless no other names dropped ) Good luck all.
