Aftermarket Keyless Entry.
Has anyone bought a keyless entry for their truck? I've seen some stock 92-96 that have it, but mine doesn't. I'd like to add it.
If anyone has it, did you install it yourself? How much was it? Where'd you get it from? I saw one at Circuit City for around $35.

You won't like my method.... but I got a receiver and a few relays out of a early 90's Buick park ave, which had not one, not two, but three remotes in the glove box. Not bad for a junkyard scrounge.
$35 is a very good price if that includes at least one keyfob (remote), for the aftermarket unit. They are fairly easy to install too.

Yea, they also had one w/remote start for around $50, but I that seems TOO cheap and I dont want my truck starting up by itself or something...
.
Anyways, since I have power locks, does this make it easier/harder installation? I'm pretty sure I can do this.

Well, I FINALLY have time to do it, lol christmas break. I have an Audiovox Keyless entry. I forgot how much it cost cuz its been like 2 months since I got it.
Ok, so I need help locating or knowing what colors some wires are:
- Parking Lights Wire.
- +12v Switched Ignition. (0 volts at OFF and ACC)
- Power Locks Wire Colors.
- Negative Wire From Horn Switch

I am in the process installing an alarm system in my 95 F150 w/ power locks. I have one quick question. Can some one tell me what wires to hook up to for the locks to work properly? What color that is? Also, where is the easiest or best location? I don't want my locks to unlock when I arm the alarm. That would suck. Thanks
