stalling lincoln
i have a lincoln with a 351m it runs fine most of the time, but stalls sometimes and will not start back up. If you wait for a few minutes it will usually start back up. When i drive it it starts back up. This car is my moms car and it has stalled and not started for her, when iget there it starts right up. Ihave changed the cap,rotor.plugs, and computer(brain). Does anyone have any ideas. Thank you

Sounds like vapor locking to me. The fuel in the carb may get so hot it evaps away after a hard run. You might try a new mech fuel pump or even better an electric pump back by the tank. If it only does it to her you might look into her start up methods-I.E. pumping the throttle too much. Good luck
