Clear as a bell here in Orlando. I'll be heading out in about an hour to check it out. It isn't like a light switch or something, nobody will be able to see much at 9:06. The local radio said it was starting at 9:14 so perhaps by 9:30 or so it might be noticable.

sign on to MSNBC or just MSN and click on the "Lunar Eclipse" article for a time table. here no the west coast especially up north we wont see anything untill after 7:00 PDT and probably wont even notice anything until 8:00PDT this is when 75% coverage starts. this eclipse is going to take a while, so it is starting now and will gradually move into total coverage in couple of hours.

Went out to test the new exhaust and K&N filter on the nearest 8% grade and the side of the road was lined up with cars & trucks sitting in the dark -- huuuhhh???

Knew I could find out what's up on FTE -- a lunar eclipse! Now I have a great view of it from my deck and I can drink a beer & surf.

Hope you had a good view mike93, thanks for the info!

Watched it for while here, it's pretty cold, and slight cloud cover so not optimum viewing, I remember the last one about three years ago was really good.

Just came back from eclipse watching & bonfire on the beach. This was my first eclipse where I actually paid attention, and I gotta say it was pretty cool!

Dodge 2500 owner was being a 'tard and got buried in the sand. I offer to strap him out and he mouths off, "Huh! Must be 'cause of the eclipse my Hemi can't pull me out of this one!" His wife threw the pass. door open and yelled, "NO, don't blame it on the moon! It's cause you're STUPID!" HA! Good times!
