airaid vs. kn

hey i was wondering which intake kits would be better and Airaid or a K&N? i was told by a salesman that sells both products that the Airaid is better because it filters better and flows better. i am just wondering what all you you think.

I had the K&N on a '92 Bronco with 5.8L and it sounded and flowed awesome. Now I have a 2004 F250 with a 5.4L and I bought the Air Force One stainless steel kit and it looks about 10 times better than any other one. It has a nice flow to it too.

Hmmm

I dont know....of course each web site will tell you there is better. Do a search on here for air filters and somewhere I read, a while back, a comparison of most "gauze" type filters....some will say stick with OEM stuff....as far as I'm conceernd all these filters are made from the same type gauze....i like mine.....either or IMO. You might buy on account of eithers cartridge and mounting hardware. Check out AFE and Air Force also...
