Wet plugs

I have a 1992 Flare side F-150 with the 5.0 EFI. I have changed the plugs in the truck twice, plug wires once and the distributor and the rotor and I'm still getting wet plugs, hard starting and now I think I'm getting some fuel in my oil. I've checked the fuel line pressure all fine, I've checked the Value pressure and that was fine. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Since you say the fuel pressure is ok and you think its gas then my guess would be dirty injectors causing poor misting and an incomplete burn, or too much water in your gas. I think the gas would burn off thou.
Does the oil smell like gas?
Hows it running?

If its not gas then you might need a valve job or ring job, or both :-(

Could it be a bad fuel filter it could be the original and the truck itself has 185,000? The motor only has around 90,000 miles on it. I have been reading that a bad ignation wire could cause my plugs not to fire hot enough. The oil does slightly smell of gas, but its not causing my oil to over flow and blow out of any ports. Appticate your reply and input.

Sounds more like you have more than a few injectors bleeding down and washing the cylinders of the oil on them. Which washes past the rings down to the crankcase. (Like pumping the gas on a carbureted model and letting the gas sit in the cylinders overnight.)

1.) Change your oil NOW! You want to alleviate gas vapors in the crankcase, and minimize damage to the bearings from the gas washing down.

2.) Do or have bleed down tests done on the injectors. Replace any that do not meet specs. you could probably have them ultrasonically cleaned and then tested again....might be cheaper this way and re-use some or all.

3.) Change the fuel filter.

Hope this helps.

Thanks alot, I did all that you said and today I did see an improvement in gas milage, but once the truck is warmed you it still hard starts. It starts fine in the morning and after it has been setting for a while. So I fell like I'm still back to where I started. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks
Mike

it could be a bad ground. clean and check them. find and clean the engine to frame ground.
