I'm having a bit of a hesitation on my 96 Mazda b3000 3.0L 2wd. It is intermittent so very hard to figure out. I get it when cruising with almost no gas or coasting. Also sometimes when starting out in reverse.
I think the following TSB description may be a lead for me:
Make: FORD TRUCK Model: RANGER Year: 1996
Service Bulletin Number: 96117 Bulletin Sequence Number: 28 Date of Bulletin: 05/96
NHTSA Item Number: 048830
Component: POWER TRAIN:TRANSMISSION:AUTOMATIC
Summary:
HESITATION AT CRUISING SPEED UNDER A LIGHT LOAD CONDITION W/ ENG AT NORMAL OPERATING TEMP,
Does anyone have acess to this TSB, or have a similar problem?
I would really like a complete copy (the truck was doing that hesitation thing again today). The TSB description I saw that might fit my problem was "HESITATION AT CRUISING SPEED UNDER A LIGHT LOAD CONDITION W/ ENG AT NORMAL OPERATING TEMP". If it has been updated then I guess that's good. Send it to me when you get a chance...I'd be much obliged.
