1985 E150 Noise

Noise coming from just above fuel filter on left frame. Sounds like a fan running. First noticed on occasion. Now stay on all the time even after key off. What is it? Thanks in advance.

Unless anybody else has some other ideas, you could start pulling fuses one at a time and see if it stops, then see what that fuse controls.

I had a problem where the relay up under the passenger side kick panel went bad and left the power on after shut down. It's supposed to stay on for 8 seconds to purge the carb.

Are you ending up with a dead battery out of this?

The sound I had was more like ticking or water dripping.
