clean up wiring Engine Bay

I have a 53 F-100 the was converted to 12 volts
The wiring job was not very clean however

Are there books or how - to tips on how to hide many of the wires under the hood?

My favorite pic are the engines the have no wires showing

Todd,

there are a couple of books available on general wiring for street rods.. Tex Smith has one out and MotorBooks stocks another... check Barnes&Noble or BooksAMillion in the transportation section

this link shows one...there are others...

http://www.affordableclassicsinc.com...d%20wiring.htm

basically you need a plan and a little forethought about routing... most of the wiring can be brought out under the view line of the firewall and routed under the frame rails and in tubing or conduits to their terminations...

Covers can be made for the firewall that will clean up the look as well... It's difficult to hide all of them, but not impossible... just takes some thinkin'

later
