Pressure Plate Disintigrated

I thought it was some sort of hydrolic issue, but when I dropped the bell housing pieces started falling out. 129,000 miles on original clutch, not bad,I guess there something to say for the fact it worked until it blew up.

$500 for new clutch, hydrolics and transmission were fine.

p.s. (2000 psd 2wd 6sp manual)

Wow, just like that it gave up? Were you working it hard or anything like that? Pulling a trailer? Sorry for all the questions, I am just curious.

What year truck? I know the '99 with a solid flywheels and springs in the disc have had some disc failures that caused pressure plate destruction. Other than that, fairley strong
