lube up window track
I have an 02 explorer which both front windows rattle and its pretty annoying...ford keeps telling me that they lubed the tracks up..I doubt that they really do it so i decided ill do it...I just need to know what to use to lube it up..any suggestions???

Window rattles are not usually a sign that you need to lube the window tracks. It sounds like something is loose/worn in the window mechanicals. Pull the door panel and look for yourself. As for what to lube things with. I use spray silicone for the felt tracks the glass rides in and grease for the gearing and slideing parts in the door. Good luck.
