new guy here

Hello I am new to this place and also fords in general. Just got an 58 dumptruck to play around with,with a big ol v-8 in it (don't know what it is)

Howdy and welcome to FTE! I'll bet there's a forum or three down the list somewhere that will fit your truck to the letter. And lots of users who are more than willing to share their knowledge, tips, tweaks, and modifications.
