Another question...2005 Ford Escape...Help
Hi Everybody!
I had posted about my new 2005 Ford Escape a few days ago. I had said that it broke down 2 days after buying it. It was a faulty rack and pinion. Ford repaired/replaced it. Fine. But when they did, the power steering fluid leaked all over the carpet under the steering wheel. They are going to replace the carpet but that 's not my concern.
I don't understand wht the leakage occured in the first place. The dealer where I bought the Escape from said it should not have happened. There is no reason for it. Help. What is going on here? Will the fluild cause any further damage to the floor or anthing else. It's still dripping fluild which the mechanic
at Ford said it would because the floor was saturated.
