Hello, everyone. I just picked up my 2005 F250 6.0L and I'm thinking about buying the Diablo Predator. I'm a little bit nervous about using this on a new truck, and need a little reassurance that it is safe, and worth the money? Thanks for your help. Has anyone had any problems with this produce?
Oh, and I have had the truck for a week and I'm in love. Came from a Ram1500. WHAT A DIFFERANCE!!!!

Boy, you came to the right place. This is Predator heaven. I'm guessing 30-40% of the members here have them, use them, and love them.........
And the other 60-70% have the Superchips Microtuner!
Just kidding. I think that the Predator might have a slightly higher percentage of users than the SCMT, but it's pretty close. Both products have users that sing their praises - sometimes off key or a bit louder than necessary, but hey as long as we all go to church . . .
Putting a tuner on the vehicle from day one won't cause any problems unless you give it a try to see what it will do. If you drive it in a reasonable manor like you would any new vehicle when breaking it in, then you should be OK. I'd wait until I had 500 to 1000 miles on it before I started pushing it too hard with the tuner.
i also have a 2005 and have added the banks kit. i just rolled 1000 miles and as long as you cover your tracks when it comes to service, or just take responsibility with the slight chance something could go wrong, you will love what a tuner can do. i recommend monitoring the egt's and hopefully any tuner you buy will have some saftey measures when the temps rise. these trucks are pretty impressive when accelerating from 20-whatever.
good luck
I am planning on taking my PSD to 1M miles. Thus, I am "chipless" and opting for longer life on the engine. I leave the hot-rodding to the younger kiddo's. I am also secure in my Ford-hood ... no need to taunt the Dodgies.
