1975 390 build up
Hey guys, this is my first post in this forum!!
I have a 360 that i am converting over to a 390, i know i have to get 390 crank, rods, and pistons. What i don't know is what heads and intake i should be looking for. Can anyone suggest some head and intake casting numbers? The heads on the 360 are D5TEAA, are these any good? I heard i can't put these heads in a car because the exhuast manifold bolts??? I would like to make some descent power but nothing too radical, nothing aluminum. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

The motor will be going in a car, so that means i have to have the diagonal exhaust manifold bolt holes correct? Do the d2t... heads have these? Also what about a crank, can i look for any 390 crank?
