For the second time in three months, half of the windows in my X have quit working. The first time the dealer attributed it to the master window lock being partially depressed causing the motor to burn up. i know that wasn't the case, but I didn't argue as it was repaired under warranty.
The service writer just called me to tell me that the front window was maigically working this morning, so I don't know what the problem really was this time. He didn't say anything about the rear window that wasn't working.
I'm a died in the wool Ford man, but this is really getting frustrating. Has anybody else out there experienced similar problems with the latest generation of Explorers?
maybe they should replace the motors...do the back windows work from the back switches on the door??? If they do maybe its just a bad master window switch
