Talking Bring on the power!

I am in the market for a flip chip, or programer for my 97 f-250 w/ 5-speed manual. I have a 4" exhaust, afe intake, and the gauges are on the way. I have found the diablo sport chip from motorhaven. I remember someone posting that a diesel power chip is the best for performance. But I cannot find any info on them. Also the Edge evolution is my other choice. Let me know from your guys experience which way I should go. Thanks

Chip choice

My experience with my '99 is with a BullyDog 4 bank chip. I think the power ratings are:

1. Stock
2. Tow mode - 55 hp ? Torque
3. Econo performance 75 hp about the same torque
4. Smokin' performance (my description) 115 hp ? torque

I usually run in Tow mode and with the increase in power I also got an increase in fuel mileage by 1 mpg or a little more. Quadzilla has the greatest idea in that the #4 be programed to idle at 1100 rpm. I wish I had known before I sent mine to Bully. The #4, I don't use at all. It will make so much boost that it sets a SES light and defuels. These things can be solved but I have mine to work and not race anyhow.

Having a 97 your performance will be slightly lower but you'll still be happy.
