Gas milage
I've got 1978 f250 400 with a c6 full time 4x4 gear ratio 4:10. My milage is killing me 6mpg in town 9.5 on the higway. The motor and tranny are just rebuilt. If I put the motor and tranny in a 1979 F150 with 205 partime transfer and a 3.50 gear ratio will i get better milage, If so what should I exspect?

I used to have an '80 Bronco that had a 400 transplanted in place of the 351M, it had a 2bbl (i think 540 cfm if I remember right) and was bone stock except the dual exhaust. It had a C6 with 3.55 gears and got me 10mpg no matter if it were city highway or off road.
