Box Needed In Nebr
Morning One and All
I'm in need of an eight foot pickup box here in Omaha NE for
my 86 F250.
Coming home from a weekend camping trip, the right rear tire
let loose it's tread (luckily the tire didn't blow!) and tore up the
rear of the box pretty good and just about slammed the tailpipe
shut.
We got the spare on and managed to pry open the tailpipe
enough so the engine could breathe.
I suppose I could just replace the damaged area with a patch
panel, but thought I'd see if I could find an entire box.
If it helps, the truck is two tone - red with a white inset.
Let me know if you can help me out... also, if you're in the NE
area, let me know of some good body shops as well.

Scott: Sorry about your tire - getting a good 80-86 truck bed is fairly difficult. The 87-96 bax will also fit; but, the wheelwell openings are slightly different. An 8' bed in good condition would run about $750 or so. Check in a wrecking yard for a first spot - sometimes classifieds will also have some leads.
