electrical question

own a 96 brc xl. does the xlt have courtesy lamps under the dash to light up your feet? if so will my xl have the harness connections i need? and what are the two grey connectors just under the center of the dash? could they be what i need?

Not sure which connctors you are referring to but the only courtesy lamps are in the doors. If you wanted them in under tha dash, they could be added easily by trcaing the circuit and adding a couple of lamps/sockets. Take care not to overload the circuit.

The grey connecters may be trailer brake control connectors since they were a standard provision in the wiring harness.

thanks! there are two connectors facing opposite eachother. one towards drivers side and the other towards passenger. i was hoping they had something to do with courtesy lamps. i dvmed the connector on drivers side and found 12 volts at one of the pins on connector. i depressed the switch in door column and the volts did not go away. therefore you are correct that they may be something else.
