My F-350CC4X4PSD has the smaller mirrors and im not very happy with that. I found a few sets of the telescopic mirrors on E-BAY but they are only for 2002 and older. Has anybody bought aftermarket mirrors, do they fit well. the only reason they wont work is they wiring harnes so that shouldnt be a problem.
also how hard is it to remove the mirrors in the first place

I think the kit is $400. It's worth every penny. You can't drive safe w/o them. I see these awesome lifted truck with the small mirrors. I don't understand. Why does Ford put these piece of junks mirror on the trucks. If you order the King Ranch mirrors they are color match to your truck. Sweet.
I just replaced my small mirrors with a set of factory heated/telescopic Ford mirrors new in box for $300 from Ebay. Sold my old ones for $50 on Ebay. The mirrors mount the same from 1999 to present-just the wiring changed. The newer ones also added running lights and color matched paint. The harness is the same-plugs changed. My mirrors came with adapter plugs. Took about 45 minutes total to swap mirrors and add wires in my doors for heat.
Directions are posted on this site. So simple a 10 year old kid could do it.

What did you connect the heat wires to? Did your truck come with heated mirrors?
What brand was the kit you bought? I am curious because I did not think mos came with adapters for the older plug. I really need to update my mirrors. Help!
