Tps Reprogramed?
I have a 1998 ranger and when i was looking under the hood i see a sticker that says ford modifcations and it says that i had something reprogrammed? tps? what is it>? was there a recall on it? what was the reason of the recall? anything i should watch for? its a 98 ranger with a 3.0 and automatic transmission... any help would be much appreciated...thank you

I don't see a recall for that, it may have been a TSB. You can view the TSB titles at alldata.com. If you need the entire TSB send me an email with the number and remind me what you need.

Probably PCM, engine control module, EEC or what ever you want to call the computer was re-programmed if it is a 3.0L. Why do you think it is the throttle position sensor?
