Heater blower switch?
Hi-
The heater/AC fan switch on my 1996 Ranger 3 L decided to malfunction yesterday.
The first 3 speeds won't work, but high speed does. This creates some wildly variable temperatures in the cabm as you can imagine.
Is this a switch problem, do you think, or is there some other module that might be malfunctioning? ll fuses seem OK.

Heater blower switch?
There is frequently a resistor module in the heater plenum where air is blown over it to keep it cool. These modules sometimes burn up or the connection burns up. Check your manual for the location on your vehicle. With the resistors out the blower usually only operates on high (straight thru, no resistor) but it can operate with other strange combinations.
