88 ford AOD trans ?
ok I have a problem with my trans mechanic and my truck ...my truck shifts through 1-2-3 but 4th gear I have to let off the throttle a little for it to shift and it doesnt engauge into overdrive, is it something major or is it something that could be repaired without rebuilding....my trans mec. says nothings wrong with it but he is full of it ..my other truck has the same trans in it but with a manual /auto valve body with a kit and it shifts hard but it shifts ..also would an AOD trans out of a 85 f-150 fit exactly in a 88 with AOD? they are not EAOD.
