My 460 Choke Piston seizes
This is the Stock 4BBL carb.
I had to pull the carb, drill a hole in the Soft plug under the piston, and punch the piston out of the cylinder. I sealed the hole with a shotgun pellet.
I cleaned the piston off with tools, and scraped the cylinder out smooth, (as I've done before) and it will be stuck tight after only a few hours of running.
I put a new Choke hot air supply tube into the manifold and the vacuam guage shows the vacuam is good, no leaks, as does a "Carb cleaner" test.
Anybody have any new ideas on this?
I think I posted this last week, and it dissapeared?
