94 f-350 keyless remote programing?

I found a posting on another site that said turning the key on/off 5 times or 8 times is for the 95 and newer models, and indeed this does not do anything on my truck.
It was specifically for an expedition, and on that the posting said there was a box in the back by the jack that had to have two of the wires hooked together with a paperclip while doing the process.
Is my F350 this way? Whether or not it is, can anyone tell me how to program my remote?
It is a 1994 F-350 crew cab 4x4

Boothby,

I did it on my 94 F-150, but I believe it is the same stock module on all F-series.
The keyless control module sits under the dash about left of the ash tray. Close to it you may find a big cable loom with an open end 2-pin connector. With IGN=Off shorten the pins, then turn IGN On and press any button on the remote. Remove the short, that's it.
LoL Dieter
