X spring install
Removing the front bumper did make it eaiser to get to the springs and only required removing 6 bolts.
The axle required some persuasion to get the hole in the axle to line up with the centering pin on the spring. I used a big ratchet strap, and a crow bar and a few 4 letter words. mostly please line up.

The front spring mount bolts were quite a pain and i needed to use my 3 ft breaker bar to loosen them up and remove them. for some reason my impact gun just wouldnt remove them.
You do need both metric and standard tools and some bolts have a different size nut which was a pain.
The whole install took about 5 hrs total, removing the bumper, plow under carriage, rotating the tires and them re installing everything.
I gained about 2 inches total lift but expect some settling.
those bolts now come in from the other direction.
and while I was there I installed timbrens front and rear.
so far no settling of the front end
but in my opinion, it was slightly more hard hitting on bumps .
but,... then I installed bfg 315/75-16 on m.t. 10" rims and the extra tire size smoothed the ride out to about stock again.
also the drivers lower shackle bolt hit the front drive shaft so i had to remove the upper bolt.
On the passengers side the lower bolt came out fine but if you did need to remove the upper bolt the exhaust is in the way, luckily i only needed to loosen it.
