94 3.0 Ranger knock
Ihave a 94 ranger 3.0 that has developed a low frequency knock when it is cold. Worse under load when it is cold. When it warms up it goes away. Have 105K miles. Bought it new and have really babied it changing the oil religiously and it has NEVER overheated. The bypass hose modification was installed while under warranty in 95. I solved the radiator leaking at the seam problem by installing a 180 thermostat and a 7 lb radiator cap. Overall runs good but dissappointed at this recent malady.
