Tail Light Problem, Need Help ASAP!!!

First off I am knew to this forum. I have recently run into a problem with my 96 Explorer XLT. I am in the process of putting in my Viper 560XV alarm/remote start combo. My first problem is that I cannot find the correct tach wire. It tells me it is tan and yellow at the PCM which is up on the firewall near the passenger side. I find that wire but it does not test correctly. Also, now my rear tail lamps have stopped working. I have no blinkers and no parking lights but my brake lights work. The front blinkers and parking lamps work fine. The last problem is that I can not find a good hole to run the siren through the firewall. I prefer not to make my own. Right now the car is still apart and I need to get this done, so I can drive it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Well, I assume the lights worked before you started installing the alarm/starter? If so, I would check all the fuses. Make sure you look under the hood for a fuse box too. If they all look good, I would start undoing the wiring you did till they start working again.
