E4OD shifts fine, O/D light Blinking
I own a 1995 Bronco 4x4 with a new 5.0 and an E4OD with 185,000 on it. I have been trying to get it to shift properly for some time. i have replaced the vehicle speed sensor in the rear axle housing. I took apart the MLPS and cleaned the connections out. After all that the truck shifts fine and always selects the right gear while accelerating and deaccelerating. no problems with shifting. the only problems i know are that it engages hard when shifting from park to reverse or to drive, and the O/D light is blinking. I beleive the mechanicals are fine, I think its something electronic. I do have mild mechanical skills so with a little help i'm trying to avoid geting a new tranny. Any help would be apprectiated. thanks
