Printing threads

Posting here because I want to print ALL of a thread without having to cut and paste so I can take to dealer for service. I did the obligatory search and was sent to some unrelated page.

So, can I print a thread without cutting and pasting to Word or Notepad? Just hitting print renders the usual web page cut-off on the right side. Is there a print view button somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks.

Not sure why you would want a WHOLE thread since these people run their mouths so much (or is that fingers? ) rather than just the info you need...

When you say hit print you ARE talking about selecting File then Print from your browser action bar at the top left of your window ? ?

The font you have your browser set to may be affecting your print...
but unless you have a screen capture program, you may not be ABLE to print the scrolling/moving portions of the window....

And please, don't bring my post to the dealer welcome to use the information, but no need getting MY warranty voided

Not a problem, JD. I'll magic marker through your stuff like the government does when they finally release all that sensitive stuff to the public under the public info act or whatever it's called. Basically, I'll have to mark through everything!

As far as printing, I just figured it would be more impressive to the dealer for them to see there is a VERY valuable resource out there to keep us more informed than they are. I want them to know I know MORE than they know; that I am not some uninformed bloke off the street to be turned away with remarks like "Exhaust smell in the cab is normal."

Which reminds me, I just emailed you about tsb's on that subject. But since you're awake. And if you read this again. Where can I find them. No luck searching.

I am arming myself for a dealer visit on the exhaust, wander, rattle issues and I am running out of warranty quickly--almost at 30k.

I run a canon printer and don't have a problem. You may want to check the page set up for your printer. It allows you to set the margins and some allow you to auto scale the size of the material to the page. most of your newer printer have these setting. also look for the users guide either already on your computer or go to the manufactuers web site.

Have you tried the "Show Printable Version" feature under the thread tools tab?

It seems to set the page up in a more printer friendly format. I've not tried to print multiple page theads though so don't know how well that works.
