Hobart Welder
Just wondering if anyone has used a Hobart Handler 125 welder. I am thinking about buying a small 110 volt, flux core just for sheet metal work, mostly body work. I have been using a tig setup on a 300 amp AC-DC Miller. My main concern is can you turn it down low enough for 20 or 22 gage metal.

I have the 135, which is basically the same. i run mine with gas, though. Welding sheet metal will be no problem. You can turn the amps way down on mine. I've wleded very thin metal with mine, with no burn through. Just make sure you tack it and continue to tack down the weld line skipping spots, so that the metal doesnt' heat up too much and warp. Try the garage and workshop area for some more results to your question.
