Factory Digital Clock question

I recenty installed a factory digital clock out of my 4x4 XLT that had one into my 2x4 XLT that didnt. Since my 2wd is the better of the 2 trucks i wanted all the good stuff in it. Anyway i have a question about how the lighting of the numbers are on them. On mine the left side is a little dimmer then the right side is this a normal thing for them or is mine i have in my truck messed up?or have a bad connection or something? any info would be great thanks Steven

Try cleaning the connectors. I put one in my truck, it is equally bright all around, but automatically dims with the headlights on, but still equally.

Thanks for the reply nick i will do that and also try another clock im going to get out of a 84 XLT bronco at the junk yard tomarrow. A shame that this bronco is in the junk yard to its in near mint condition on the outside as well as inside. Paints shiny no rust anywhere and not a ding in it but oh well i guess ill just get all the good parts off it for my trucks

Factory Clock fix

Well i went to the junk yard and took some more parts off the perfectly clean straight 84 Bronco. I got the digital clock out of it and put it in my truck works as good as new. The other one that i had out of my 4x4 f250 was messed up i guess still is a little dim on the left side even back in the 4x4. Oh well dont really care how it looks in that one since its just gonna be my woods truck anyways i also got the factory delay wiper switch and brain box out of the bronco. Put that in my 2wd f250 best thing i could of done for that truck. I got tired of having to reach over and flip the switch on and off in a light rain fall now i only have to do it once. I also robbed some emblems off a perfectly good straigh clean 82 F100 XLT Lariat. I figured since my truck has everyhting a factory Lariat would have in it now and then some with my ZF 5 speed in it that it deserve's to have the Lariat emblems put on it. So i took those off the F100 what a nice truck that was to id love to get it and put my 4x4 F250 drive train under it and engine then id have a 460 powered 3/4 short bed F100 i would do that if i had the time and money to get the truck and do the mods but i can dream about it
