Does anyone know where I can find a link to an article on installing a Remote Starter into a 97 LTD S.O.H.C ?
On a scale of 1 - 10 , how difficult is it?
Thanks

I put on on my 98 Eddie Bauer and it took about 3 hours. Mine was from Bulldog Security and I went to their website to download the wiring scematic for my SPECIFIC year, make and model. That scematic is worth it's weight in gold!! If you have a computer chip in your key (like I did), you'll also need a transponder to bypass the security system and a spare key to leave in the transponder. I also bought the T-harness whick plugs into the vehicle electric harness under the dash which will give you the wires you need to hook to without having to splice the factory harness.
A scale of 1 to 10, it's a 4 if you are good with vehicle electronics. A 9 if you have no clue!
