I pulled the injectors on the drivers side bank for an o-ring job and when I put it back together only three of the cylinders would hit. I had to replace one of the female conectors in the pigtail and now the truck won't even fire.
The hpop is full of oil. There is no smoke coming from the tailpipe so it is not fueling, I think I can hear the electric feul pump humming with the key on. There is a little pressure in the schrader valve on the side of the fue canister.
I also used a voltmeter and put the hot probe on the ceter wire of the pigtail and the negative on the connecters beside the center one. I am not hardly getting any voltage from these.
Earlier I was getting roughly 115 ac volts from them before I took out the bad female connecter.
On other thing, when cranking on the truck for about 10 seconds and no fire when I go to let off of the key it starts to hit. It is almost like my voltage is so low that the injectors can only fire when the strain from the starter is taken off. I tried putting the charger on but it didn;t help.
Also my tach is moving, does the rule out the cps? I went as far as putting another cps in and the tach still moves so I am thinking this is not my problem. Are there drivers or something that can go bad?
