Bought my first Excursion 10-21
Hello all,
Just bought my first X 2001 4x2 w/v10. I currently now have to try to sell my 94 diesel suburban, I know you guys are ford guys but anyone looking for a sub send them my way. Any tricks or things I should look at on the X? It only has 30K almost like new. I really like the power so far, got 14mpg first tankful mostly hwy solo. I tow a 28 ft. TT so I'tll be put to work soon. What will I expect towing between 65-70 mph?

Welcome to the forum! I recently did a small loop from VA to Las Vegas and back (not towing), and averaged 13.67 MPG calculated ... don't believe the overhead display. Many here have found it to be about 0.4 MPG optimistic. You may also want to check out the TV (tow vehicle) section at the link below for TT-related info.
