Ignition System Question?

What is the advantage of installing A pertronix ignition or dual point distributor in my 66 352? Is it worth the money?

Yes - worth the money. Think about never having to adjust dwell, install new points again. Combined with a high voltage coil, delivery of higher voltage (one of the reasons for dual-point distributors), more consistent voltage, and better performance at higher RPMs, IMHO that makes the $$ spent more than worth it.

That would be the response for the Pertronix. You can also do a Duraspark conversion with parts sourced from the salvage yard and keep everything Ford, if you so desire... As far as the dual point, I would not recommend them, old school way of getting a hotter spark to your plugs.

If your points are working properly, you will not notice any difference with the Pertronix, except that it will continue to work properly.
