7.3 Owners or enemy
Bad enough I get the Chebby and Dodge Boys giving me a hassle. What is up with the die hard 7.3 guy? A 7.3 "Banks everything" but his underware guy, started giving me a hard time yesterday at the local NAPA dealer. The 6.0L "Baby Stroker" was no match for his truck.
I politely let "Baby" wax him on the way home...........

So first off, are you stock or loaded up with a SC or Predator??? Next, how did you get the cool "the dude is crazy" smiley. I can't find it in my list anywhere. It's great blowing by 7.3's on the highway though, and to think I use to be one of the 7.3 guys.

But my hats off to the 7.3.. We have a fleet of'em, and they are brutely beaten on a daily basis in severe construction applications, and the maintainance in the field is less than they need, and they still keep come back for more!! ..Problems... a few.. mostly tranny stuff (built one today)
My 1/03 has had more problems than ANY of our 7.3's.. Still love it though..
Sure miss the Predator power.. I had a guy a 79ish F250 that was Sooo loud when he was coming on the freeway wide open that it caught my attention and I looked over.. Guess he though it to be a challenge.. His rig was 'hot' and tall, and we hammered the throttle for a few seconds till I almost ran into the traffic ahead.. Couldn't they see me com'n!!
No contest.. Guess he saw the diesel badge and though he had trophy.........................HP................

I liked my 95 7.3 it was a good truck and everyone in 95 told me how bad the deisel was and not to buy it. I was hooked and never looked back, same with the 6.0......I love it
