sluggish
I have a 97 PSD and it is sluggish on take off mostly when its cold. I have noticed that it is starting to get that way when its warm but only on take off. I am going to replace the inj. orings this weekend but I'm wandering what else makes that sluggish cold take off for a few thousand feet when you first fire up. I do not run a muffler on it, however it was the same before I took it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Your profile says you live in Ohio. I assume they salt the roads there. What I suspect is salt damage to the connectors on your wiring harness causing erronious readings for the ECU to work with.
You might try a new fuel filter, but that usually causes a top end loss of power not a take-off/low-end torque loss that you are describing.
